而透射式共振可飽和吸收體RSA是BSTOP新推出的產品,可用于1064nm的激光波長,吸收率A為53%,透過率T為45%,弛豫時間6ps。
可飽和吸收體SA的適用波長范圍從980nm到3000nm,弛豫時間從500fs~37ps,其尺寸從1.0 mm x 1.0 mm至5.0 mm x 5.0 mm,能夠兼容多種封裝基底。
RSA(Resonant Saturable Absorber in transmission)透射式共振可飽和吸收體
RSA透射式共振可飽和吸收體可用于環形激光器的被動鎖模,其方法與SA可飽和吸收體相似。目前只有一個標準型號,適用于1064nm的激光波長。
透射式共振可飽和吸收體RSA具有以下特性:
- 低強度時共振波長處的反射率為零。
- 共振以外所有波長的透射比為零。
- 在共振波長處,透過率隨脈沖通量的增大而增大。
- 飽和通量明顯低于SA可飽和吸收體,甚至低于一般的可飽和吸收鏡。
這些特性使得我們可以構造一個被動鎖模光纖環形激光器,激光波長固定在RSA的共振波長處,用于啟動cw鎖模的低功率閾值。

SA(Saturable Absorber)-透射式可飽和吸收體
與可飽和吸收鏡SESAM相比,可飽和吸收體SA沒有布拉格反射鏡,但他可以像可飽和吸收鏡一樣用于激光器的自啟動,被動鎖模。兩者的不同之處在于可飽和吸收體SA在透射模式下工作,它可以插入例如光纖環激光器中。SA的飽和能量密度遠高于SAM的飽和能量密度。
SA可飽和吸收體的最大特點是成本遠低于另一種常用的鎖模方法——SAM可飽和吸收鏡+布拉格反射鏡。一般應用于醫用光纖激光器的鎖模,還可用于>1600nm長波長半導體泵浦固體激光器的鎖模。
